During two decades, journalist Víctor Tapia and musician Zelmar Garn investigated the origins of rock in Argentina. Finding unknown material, ignored even by the companies that released it in the 50's. Going through this path as researchers and trying to put together so many years of oblivion, they prepared a series to rescue recordings that reveal a lot of Argentine music that, when contextualized, acquires its due historical value. This compilation is a respectful, curious tour of the national rock recordings between 1956-58 and an homage to the pioneers of the genre in Argentina.

Durante dos décadas, el periodista Víctor Tapia y el músico Zelmar Garn investigaron los orígenes del rock en Argentina. Dieron con muchísimo material desconocido, ignorado incluso por los sellos que lo lanzaron en los años 50. Recorriendo este camino como investigadores e intentando reconstruir tantos años de olvido, prepararon una serie para rescatar varias grabaciones que revelan mucha de la música argentina que, contextualizada, adquiere el debido valor histórico. Esta recopilación es un recorrido por las grabaciones del rock nacional entre 1956-58 y un homenaje a los pioneros del género en Argentina.
